Existing-condition review
Use the available surveys and opening-up information to understand the existing construction. Access, hidden conditions and the extent of removal should be considered when establishing the remediation scope.

TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING. PRACTICAL DELIVERY.
External wall works bring several specialist elements together. Conex’s façade services cover panels, insulation, fire barriers, support rails and weatherproofing components. We work with designers, manufacturers and façade engineers to review buildability and coordinate the specified remediation or installation package.
A façade is a coordinated assembly of visible and concealed components. Panels, rails, insulation, barriers, membranes and perimeter interfaces have different roles within that assembly. Conex works with the project design team and suppliers to understand the specified system and deliver the agreed installation or replacement scope.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The final scope is agreed against your specification, existing conditions and programme.
Use the available surveys and opening-up information to understand the existing construction. Access, hidden conditions and the extent of removal should be considered when establishing the remediation scope.
Coordinate support rails, insulation, fire barriers, weatherproofing components and panels against the approved details. Sequencing needs to allow the concealed components to be inspected.
Pay attention to windows, balconies, parapets, corners and changes in material. These junctions bring several packages together and should be resolved before the external finish is completed.
Our wider service range includes external and internal wall insulation. The insulation package, interfaces and specified performance should be defined together with the associated construction works.
QUALITY & COORDINATION
Before installation, the team reviews the approved design, access strategy and interfaces with windows, balconies and adjoining construction. Work is sequenced around the specified system and site constraints, with particular attention to concealed details before they are closed up.
We coordinate with designers, manufacturers and façade engineers on buildability and installation details. Structural supports, windows, balcony works and internal finishes need clear responsibility boundaries so the external package can progress without unresolved junctions.
PROJECT CHECKPOINTS
INFORMATION AT HANDOVER
The agreed package may include location records, product and system information, inspection records and maintenance details. Clear identification of completed work areas supports future inspection and any subsequent building alterations.
PREPARING YOUR PROJECT BRIEF
Share the information you have, including your site location and target dates. We can discuss the proposed works and identify the details needed to establish a clear package.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Share the surveys, approved design and proposed scope. We can discuss the installation package, access and information needed to prepare a proposal.
Design responsibilities must be agreed for each project. Our installation discussion should identify the approved design, specialist inputs and any contractor responsibilities explicitly.
Resident access, protection, deliveries and working zones need to be included in the project plan. Tell us about these constraints when making an enquiry.
